Do you always have stock available?

We have a large range of products in stock, however we don't always have every colour in every range.  Most items have listed the available quantities.  Please email me if you have any questions regarding availablity. 

Will the price of goods ever change?

We endeavour to keep prices the same however we do reserve the right to change prices when required.

Do your prices include GST?

From the 18th May 2011 all prices include GST, international customers will not be charged GST, at this stage you will be issued a refund for the tax paid.

How do I place an order?

  1. Select colour/style required.
  2. Enter Quantity
  3. Click 'add to basket', this will take you to the checkout page.
  4. Click on 'continue shopping' (on the left hand side of screen) if you wish to purchase more products.
  5. When finished shopping please ensure quantities and colours are accurate, enter billing and address details and follow prompts to payment page.

 What are your postage and handling charges?

Cost are dependent on the weight of your parcel and are listed below for domestic parcels.  International customers - cost depends on your location and will be displayed during checkout, all parcels will be sent airmail unless alternative arrangements are made.

How do I pay?

I accept payment using credit card, by bank transfer/deposit and money order or bank cheque (not personal cheques), please follow the prompts through the checkout pages. Please note if depositing payment into my bank account purchases will be sent after funds clear - please use your name as a reference. Credit card payments are processed through Eway via a secure connection, an SSL certificate has been installed on this website to protect your card details. 

Are your prices in Australian dollars?

All our prices are in Australian dollars. International customers please note that exchange rates / other currencies displayed on this site are a guide only and may be different to those used by Eway / Paypal.

How do I know my order has been received?

You will be sent a confirmation email.

Can I call Yay for Yarn for advice on products?

You can call us between 9am-4pm Qld time for advice on our products or email us at any time.

Are the colours accurate?

All photographs are taken in natural light to try to maintain accuracy of colours. Please be aware that computer monitors may display slight differences in colour.

I live overseas, can I order from you? (international shipping)

Yes you can, your parcel will be sent via airmail, if you require a different postage method please contact me.  Please note that Yay! for yarn will not be responsible for any customs taxes.

I'm after yarn from a particular dye lot - can you help?

Yes, please enter the dye lot required in the delivery notes or comments box, will appear after you click 'place order now' (payment page). We will attempt to match the dye lot you require, if this is not possible we will contact you before processing order to see if you wish to continue.  Alternatively call or email us to check availability. 

Will my order all be in the same dye lot?

All orders will be in the same dye lot, please be aware for large orders this may mean we have to order stock in from our suppliers, you will be contacted if this is the case.  At lot of our products are handdyed and this does mean variations can happen between skeins in the same lot, it is recommended that you alternate between skeins to avoid harsh colour changes.  Sale items are on available stock only and this may mean limited numbers in a particular dye lot.

Can I have my order sent as a gift?

Yes, there is an option to add alternate billing and postal addresses.  Please enter in the delivery or comments box on the payment page that your order is a gift to ensure invoices etc. are not sent to the recipient.

How do I use a gift certificate or promotion code?

Enter gift certificate code or promotion code during checkout, you must then press apply changes for discounts to take effect. The total of your certificate or promotion code should then be automatically deducted from the total amount.
